Why we made this

Built for the moment before you speak.

There is a small, held breath before saying a word you are not sure of, in a meeting, a classroom, an interview. sayit exists for that breath. We built an English pronunciation coach that gives you honest, kind, specific feedback, so the next time the moment comes, you already know your voice will land.

The gap we kept hitting

A pat on the head, or a red number.

Most apps land in one of two unhelpful places. One says great job to almost anything. Warm, but useless, because it never tells you what to change. The other flashes a harsh score and a stripe of red, which feels like a verdict and teaches nothing.

Neither is how a good coach works. A good coach listens closely, finds the one sound holding you back, and shows you exactly how to make it, patiently, without making you feel small. That is the whole product. We just made it run on your own device, any time you want to practise.

What you usually get

Good job · 67 / 100

Vague, or scary. Either way, no idea what to fix.

What sayit shows
Target

/θɪŋk/

Your sound

/sɪŋk/

The /θ/ came out as /s/. Touch your tongue to your top teeth and let the air flow. Try it three times.

What we believe

Four convictions, inked into every screen.

They shaped every decision, from where your audio goes to how a single correction is worded.

Private by default

Your voice is yours. Analysis runs on your device. No uploads, no account required to start, nothing harvested. The microphone closes when you do.

Specific over scary

Not a red 67. We point to the one vowel that slipped, show its IPA beside yours, and tell you what to do with your mouth next time.

Handcrafted, not junk

No streaks badgering you, no confetti, no dark patterns. Every screen is built like a tool a real coach would hand you. Calm and considered.

For every accent

Clarity, not assimilation. The goal is being understood while sounding like yourself. Your accent is a feature, never an error to erase.
