sayit for iPhone is the web app remade for a phone: the deck, the duck, the streak, and the exact sound to fix. Enrol and you'll get one email the day it lands on the App Store.

How a take works

Say one line

Ten seconds is enough. The recorder captures at full fidelity — no auto-gain, no noise gate, nothing that would blur the sounds we need to read.

Every sound gets lined up

Your speech is aligned against the target pronunciation, phoneme by phoneme, with millisecond timing.

You get the one fix that matters

A clarity verdict per word, the slipped sound in IPA next to what you actually produced, and a drill for the contrast your ear is missing.

It is the same engine the web app runs, not a cut-down phone version — which is why a take you record on the phone and one you record in a browser are scored identically. The full breakdown is on the features page.

Before you enrol

When is the iPhone app out?

There is no public date yet, and we would rather say that than invent one. The app is built and in the final stages before App Store review. You will get exactly one email when there is a real link to tap.

What will you do with my email address?

We send one confirmation email now, and one email at launch. Nothing else. You confirm the address before you are on the list at all, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Do I have to wait to start?

No. The web app is the full product today and runs in your phone's browser as well as on a laptop. Anything you record now is on your account and will be there in the app.

Will it work offline?

No. The analysis runs on our servers, so the app needs a connection to score a take. Recording itself is local to the phone.

Will it cost anything?

There is a free tier, the same as on the web. Paid plans are optional and the App Store shows you the price before you buy anything. Current plans are on the pricing page.

Is there an Android app?

Not yet. The web app works in a mobile browser today, and that is the honest recommendation until an Android build exists.
