sayit for Mac
- Available now
- Checked 2026-09
How it works
Open the web app
Works in Safari or any Chromium browser on macOS — no install required.
Optional: add the browser extension
In Chrome or Edge, install the extension to select and practise any sentence without leaving the page.
Optional (today, via Raycast): a Script Command
Raycast's own extension is coming soon, but the link it will use is already live — wire sayit.cipher.academy/practice?text=… into a Raycast Script Command today and any selection opens straight into the recorder.
What actually works here
- The full scoring engine in your normal Mac browser, with no separate download
- On-page practice, IPA verdicts, and meeting recap via the Chrome/Edge extension
- A working Raycast shortcut today, ahead of the dedicated extension
What this doesn't do
Worth knowing before you start
- No native macOS app — sayit on Mac is the web app plus a browser extension, not a menu-bar app
- The Raycast extension itself (word of the day, streak in the command bar) hasn't shipped yet — only the practice deep link works today
- Needs an internet connection; nothing runs offline
Straight answers
Is there a native Mac app?
No — sayit on Mac is the web app (Safari or Chrome) plus, optionally, the Chrome/Edge browser extension. Both are free.
Does the Raycast extension exist yet?
Not yet — it's coming soon. The link it will use, sayit.cipher.academy/practice?text=…, is already live, so you can wire it into a Raycast Script Command today.
