Getting started
How it works
01
Install the extension
Add sayit to Chrome or Edge if you haven't already.
02
Join your Zoom call in the browser
Use Zoom's browser client (join from your browser rather than the desktop app) so the extension has a page to attach to.
03
Get your recap after the call
Pace, filler count, talk time, and phrases worth drilling, waiting in the extension popup once the call ends.
What you get
What actually works here
- A pace reading for the call
- A filler-word count tallied across everything you said
- Your talk time versus the rest of the call
- Specific phrases worth drilling afterward, in the same practice loop as everything else in sayit
Honest limits
What this doesn't do
Worth knowing before you start
- This is a recap after the call, not live coaching during the meeting
- Needs Zoom running in a browser tab (Chrome or Edge) where the extension can attach — that's how any browser extension works
- Not available inside the separate Zoom desktop application
Questions
Straight answers
Does this work with the Zoom desktop app?
sayit's meeting recap is a browser-extension feature, so it needs the call open in a Chrome or Edge tab, not the standalone Zoom desktop application.
What exactly is in the recap?
Your pace, a filler-word count, your talk time relative to the whole call, and specific phrases worth practising — the same categories as the Google Meet and Teams recap.
