Daily English practice that takes 10 minutes

A short daily habit beats one long weekly session, because clear speech is muscle memory, not a fact you memorize. sayit turns that habit into one short recorded take a day: it scores every sound, and the streak means nothing if the same mistakes keep coming back — so it also tracks whether they actually go away.

A 5-step routine

How to actually practise this

  1. 1

    Record one line

Open Practice and read or say one line — two minutes, not twenty.

    Open Practice
  2. 2

Read the verdict, not just the score

A single number hides which word actually needs work. The per-word verdict doesn't.

  3. 3

    Fix the one flagged sound

Open the mouth diagram for the sound that slipped and say the word three times before you move on.

  4. 4

    Log it

The streak and the score trend live in one place, so a bad day doesn't feel like the whole week.

    See Progress
  5. 5

    Revisit on day 7

Check which sounds Progress still flags after a week — that's the honest measure, not day one.

    Check the trend
What you'll see

What the feedback shows

  • Pace — your words per minute against a natural conversational range
  • Filler words — how often "um" and "uh" interrupt you
  • Pauses — where you stopped, and whether it landed on a sentence boundary
  • Sounds — a clear/unclear/check verdict for every word you said
Questions

Straight answers

How long should daily practice actually be?

Ten minutes is enough, as long as every minute is recorded and scored. Twenty minutes of unscored talking to yourself doesn't tell you whether anything changed.

Do I need a teacher for daily practice?

Not for this part. sayit scores pronunciation and fluency on its own. A teacher still matters for vocabulary range and grammar, which sayit doesn't grade.

What happens if I miss a day?

The streak resets, but your score history doesn't — Progress keeps every take you've ever recorded, streak or no streak.
